We are so excited that you are considering submitting a piece to Finding God in Anime! We are looking for passionate otaku writers who would like to share the Biblical parallels they’ve found in their favorite anime or how certain situations/events in those animes have helped them to draw closer to Jesus. Please see the guidelines for submissions below for further details.

Word Length: 300 – 700 words
Submissions: Up to three pieces (Note: Please submit all simultaneously.)
Please Include with your submission: Title of piece(s), title of anime(s) you have chosen,
author name/pen name, and author bio
No major spoilers, please.
When using Biblical quotations, please clarify which version of the Bible you are quoting from.
Please ensure the anime(s) you’ve chosen have God-honoring themes.
We will NOT accept submissions based on anime that contain:
- Ecchi (nudity, perverse content)
- Glorification of black magic and/or witchcraft
- Demonic and/or satanic activity/symbols
- Gruesome and/or extreme violence
- Yaoi/yuri (no same gender romance)
Note: yokai anime are permitted.
The organizers reserve the right to deny submissions at their own discretion without explanation.
